The combined control unit KAU 30B, manufactured in 2022 and belonging to the 1st category, has been received in the warehouse.

 KAU-30B is a hydroelectric-mechanical combined unit designed to relieve loads from the control levers.

 It can operate in the following modes:

- manual control, where the control is performed directly by the pilot;

- autopilot control, where the control is performed by the autopilot;

- combined control, where the hydraulic amplifier operates simultaneously from manual control and from the signals of the autopilot;

- "hard thrust", this mode is only possible when the transmission is not working and there is no pressure in the power steering.

 It is used on MI-8 and MI-8T helicopters.
